Halter Swimwear
Halter swimwear may be the savior for plus-sized women, but it can only do so much for the figure this summer. Before donning this style of swimsuit, it’s best to prep the body as much as one can. This style enhances the bust area and shows off one’s shoulders. However, one can look even better with the right kind of exercise that develops those areas.

Toning the arms
Ever felt embarrassed about that extra jiggle along the arms when you wave goodbye or hello to someone? Instead of encasing your jiggly arms in long sleeves in the summer, work toward minimizing the jello in that area with a few exercises that will tone the muscle and skin in your arms. Start by acquiring moderately weighted dumbbells that you could use to do some medium resistance lifting. One exercise you can do is the basic curl-ups. Stand with your back and arms leaning on a flat and stable wall, feet slightly apart, and knees bent to a 90-degree angle as if sitting down on a stool. Keeping your upper arm parallel to the wall, alternately lift the dumbbells up to your elbow level, forming the curls referred to in the name of this exercise. Do these a couple of reps regularly over a period of time to have toned and defined muscles just in time for summer.
Shouldering the way to fitness
The shoulders are emphasized when wearing this style of swimwear. To make your shruggers look more defined, do a shoulder press to tone them up a bit. Stand straight with feet slightly apart, with arms raised holding the weights up to shoulder level. Lift hands up and bring the weights together as if clapping above your head. Slowly bring down to shoulder level again. This exercise not only puts a little muscle and lots of definition on your shoulders but it also works out your arms, back, and chest area.
Amping up the chest
This style of swimwear is ideal for women who are top-heavy as it is structured to provide support by reining in those sidespills and amping up the cleavage for even those who aren’t as buxom as they want to be. One exercise that can help keep those assets up is the butterfly. Lie down on a bench or flat surface with your arms extended at the sides. Lift both arms at the same time till you form a V in front of you. You can use weights in this exercise to further develop those pectoral muscles as well. With a toned and firm chest, you surely will look better in a halter or any kind of swimwear.
